If you watch all of these videos, a server is just someone’s choice of how to deliver media/content to the LED wall. A media server has all of your videos and pictures on it….whatever file you choose from the server can display on the LED wall.

@@zachariahlehoux4383 you can do a pretty good job using offline mode in any NovaStar software. Some people just use basic shapes (colored circles and lines) in Microsoft Word or Photoshop or something.

This is a basic course, and that’s kind of an advanced concept. However, there isn’t really such a thing as a “3D LED wall.” The LED wall itself is just a big flat screen. Some processors can generate 3D content that you can see with 3D glasses. But all of the impressive “3D LED walls” you see in videos…it’s just really creative video content that tricks your eyes into thinking it’s 3D. The LED wall itself has nothing to do with it, actually.

Is the module upside down?

no. there's only one way to connect it. we also tried and swapped it with a module above it and the picture was (is) stayed upside down. it's a massive unilumin led wall at a stadium. one of the powerpacks failed so we had three blacked out modules. we replaced the pack, put the modules back in and now out of the three one is displaying upside down images 😅

is there a way to flip or rotate the image on individual modules? i think it's a novastar box to control and send data to the wall

@@kozakhanda yes there is a setting in the software but that’s really strange. Do you have the RCFGX file? Or do you know how to pull the RCFGX file from a good panel and send it to the rest?

@@squareV I've started working at a new company so I'm not accustomed to all the brands they have at the moment but honestly I haven't seen an easy brand so far. I wish there was a nice trick to make sure a 100sqm physical build finished in 1 hour

@@mistaowickkuh6249 well there's no super fast way to build ANYthing that large...but there are definitely better components (latches, modules, cables) that can make it a lot easier. Especially for these portable panels. Cheers!

Hello! I’m not sure what you mean. The screen in this video doesn’t have seams. Can you be more specific?

If you watch all of these videos, you’ll see that the LED processor is what takes your content and sends it to the LED wall. Every LED processor has different inputs on it. You play your video on a device…and plug that device into the processor.

We call it the “component box” but there’s not really an official term for it. The main components aren’t always found in a door or box like this - usually just on portable products like the ones in this video. Inside you’ll find the power supply, data receiving card, power and data terminals and jumper cables, indicator lights and small cables, as well as the main hub board (where data and power all meet).

There are many programs that you can use to edit pictures and videos. We use Adobe Premiere and Photoshop mostly.

Sure. It functions just like a computer monitor after it’s assembled. You can send any content you want to the LED wall as long as the processor has the input (HDMI, DVI, DP, SDI, etc etc) you need.

@@squareV thank you very much for your answer. I have a vx4s video controller that has TV port CVBS1. The problem is ... what channel I get knowing that the TV signal has 100 TV channels and I need that one with UEFA EURO 2024? How can I differentiate among them ?

⁠@@neluroman555unfortunately, you cant plug a TV antennae into the VX4S and change the channels. You need a TV box of some sort (cable, satellite, online streaming platform) which allows you to change the channel before the signal gets to the VX4S.

Major difference is that this one has scaling built in while the MCTRL4K doesn’t. If you compare the back of them you’ll see some other differences, too.

Yes, You need to have NovaStar receiving cards in your LED panels and a NovaStar sending card aka LED processor

This is dependent on the pixel pitch…the number of pixels per port.

This is an issue caused by different batches of LED bulbs. It can not be 100% matched. But calibration can get you pretty close. You might reach out to NovaStar about calibration.

Are you looking at a portable wall (can be set up, disassembled, and reassmbled) or a permanent installation (install it and leave it)? Also, are you looking at something that is permanently mounted to a wall or hung from the ceiling?

Sorry for the delay. There are many factors even within a permanent wall-mounted install that could affect the time it takes. How many people you have installing, the surface you are mounting to, etc.. That size of LED wall would be about 60 total LED panels. Different brands are assembled in different ways. As long as the surface you are mounting it to is flat (and you are properly trained for the install) -- it shouldn't take longer than a day's work to install a squareV brand LED wall of that size. Ps. we have training available for all of our dealers and they can pass that on to end users if they choose to. Hope that helps answer your question!@@mikl2991

Hey Tamar! Sorry for the slow response. But yes, I think you can stitch multiple DVI together to get to 4K, but the HDMI is the only true single 4K input.
